ABOUT OUR FLOOR STAND:

The StitchMate™ is a precision tool beautifully crafted and finely tuned to the requirements of both the serious stitcher and the casual needleworker. It provides features not found on any other stand:

  • Swivels your fabric into and out of your work area so that you can get in and out of your seat with no hassle whatsoever.  Swivel action is automatic and does not require adjusting any knobs. 

  • Flips your fabric completely over, full circle, top to bottom, without having to loosen, tighten, or adjust knobs.  Unique auto-tension control keeps your fabric flipping smoothly and evenly year after year after year.

  • Puts your fabric right in front of you just where YOU want it.  Height adjustable from 22" to 30" (at clamp).   Arm reach into work area is up to 15".

  • Ball-bearing construction and built-in age and wear adjustments ensure that your StitchMate™ will be loved and enjoyed for generations to come.

  • Adjustable chart holder puts your chart or magazine very up-close-and-personal.  Holder has small-items tray and magnetic backboard.

  • A free set of our SureLock™ scroll frame sidebars and scroll rods.  You get a tightly stretched fabric or canvas without sewing, taping, or stapling.  Simply lay your fabric/canvas over the specially grooved scroll rods, press the fabric into the groove with the lockbars, tighten knobs, and you are done.  Our scroll rods are 3/4" in diameter.

  • Optional, adjustable scissors tray puts your scissors, floss, beads, threaders, and other necessary items right at your fingertips.  Just reach over and there they are.

  • Optional Stretcher Bar Adapters let you work with 1/2" & 3/4" Stretcher Bars.  Adapters also work well to hold silk guaze that is in a cardboard working frame.  Work equally well to hold  perforated paper. 

  • Optional Q-Snaps Adapter lets you work with Q-Snaps.

  • Optional ADP Sidebars let you work with American Dream Products and other scroll rods having knobs or wing-nuts at each end.  These sidebars will not fall out of our clamp. 

  • Sets up for left-side or right-side use from an easy chair recliner or other style chair or from the end of a couch.

  • Shipped almost fully assembled.  Sets up in minutes.

  • Made of Alder, an attractive, close-grain  hardwood hand-rubbed with a custom-blend oil finish.

  • A complete system designed for the stitcher that comes right out of the box with everything you need to do serious stitching from the first day onward.
